Exam needed: You should see an ophthalmologist for an examination. You may have damaged the pigment layer beneath your retina within the center of your vision (foveomacular area). An exam can help to sort this out. Unfortunately some people who develop solar retinopathy don't fully recover their baseline vision. Treatment may involve a short course of corticosteroids. Good luck.
