Catheters: You always have the right to refuse any medical treatment. Indwelling urinary catheters are seldom appropriate for urinary incontinence (even when hospitalized) especially in a 26 yr old male.

UTI: The hospital usually has to chart your imput and output which would be difficult to do in you are wearing a diaper.Hoever, speak to your doctor to see if he would waiver the requirement.
