Two unrelated questi: Thyroid antibodies is a test to help diagnose an autoimmune thyroid disease and to distinguish it from other forms of thyroid dysfunction. It can be ordered to investigate a goiter(enlarged thyroid), conditions causing low or high thyroid hormone and we do not treat thyroid antibodies but thyroid condition prevent miscarriage by prenatal care and testing and proper nutrition.Avoid alcohol;smoking.

Typically, you don't: If you have grave's than you have to monitor the fetus for a goiter during the 2nd trimester via ultrasound and the mother may need to be treated with additional Methimazole (antithyroid medication). If you have hashimoto's than you will have to monitor the mother's thyroid levels to make sure it is adequately replaced. You don't usually treat the antibody levels.
