Not likely: Unless it was quite large. A ct scan would see the adrenal glands better.

Yes, but not all: It is possible to visualize a pheochromocytoma by ultrasound, but not all can been seen. Also, a diagnosis can not be made solely by ultrasound, since other masses, both benign and cancerous, can be found in the same anatomical location.
