Yes: it is possible to see a portion of the ventricles, but there is very limited ability to specifically assess the ventricles on an abdominal US. Assessing the heart is, generally, not within the scope of an abdominal ultrasound. The heart will not be commented on, or imaged, unless a gross abnormality is noticed incidentally during the exam.
