Problems possible: Depends on how deep the laceration is and if any tendons or nerves are involved. See an orthopedic surgeon who is a hand specialist.

Will eventually heal: But i wouldn't advise it. Cuts on the hand are prone to reopening because of the movement of the hand. Also there are somany underlying structures that are important in the hand that can be injured and should be repaired if the cut is deep.
