T pallidum: Antibodies can be positive causing a test called fta-abs positive for life even though t pallium was treated successfully. Lymes disease test can sometimes can be false-positive. But if positive it is recommended to get treated by a course of the recommended antibiotic.

Syphilis: Yes you can have what is called serofast lues, in which the serology remains positive. It is unlikely to cause a false-positive western blot for lyme.
