Bodies accomodate.: Our bodies become used to habitual patterns. If you have been eating small portions of food for a while, your system may go on overload when you eat a larger amount of food. It works the same way for other repeating behaviors. If you go to bed at a particular time, that is usually the time when you feel sleepy. If you eat meals on a schedule, your body sends out hunger cues at that time.

A 17-year-old female asked:

Maybe: I do believe that your stomach gets smaller if you acclimate it to smaller meals and prolonged periods of fasting. It will also make you feel more full when you eat a large meal if you have been on a conservative diet. By the way, prolonged periods of fasting 12-16 hours a day have shown to benefit older folks when it comes to weight, heart disease and diabetes.

Psychology: Smell of a particular food may be associated with a prior bad experience with such food. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
