Not expected: You need to go back to the surgeon to find out what is wrong? For example- was the mesh accidentally stitched to the rectum or is the mesh infected?

Contact your Surgeon: This is not normal. Any time there is a post operative complication you should contact your surgeon to make sure that they know something is wrong and to see if they have a plan to evaluate the problem.
