No: The key to healing in an inguinal hernia is time without straining. Generally we say 4-6 weeks before strenuous exercise. While no real guidelines exist for sex , i would avoid it for at least a couple of weeks and immediately stop if there is any pain

Post surgery: I am sure your surgeon gave you guidelines for when it was ok to have sex again. I am sure that a few days post surgery is too soon.
