Too hard to answer: You are being referred to a neurologist because someone sitting in front of you couldn't figure it out. Your symptoms could be just about anything including anxiety. You will be interviewed and examined. Additional testing may be ordered.

Challenging?: Many possible diagnoses, and perhaps the neurologist can provide a simple explanation. As dr fisher indicates, this visit will be no major issue, as the interview and exam is similar to what your regular doctor does, but focuses on brain, spinal cord, sensation, strength, balance, and cognition. Hopefully, some time will be spent on explaining findings, and suggesting further steps.
