A member asked:

How much does your chance if blood clots increase during pregnancy? does a previous c-section make this higher?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A previous csection: Does not increase your risk and the risk for the average healthy women is low, risk is more right after surgery that is why for the 1st 24-36 hours sequential compression stockings are used to prevent venous stasis that could lead to blood clots until you are up ambulating.
