Hypertension: You may have essential HTN on top of asthma. Please take the medication and keep an eye bp. Avoid salt and sodium in diet. Alcohol use may increase the bp. Exercise regularly that will help reduce the bp.

Need inhaled steroid: I note that you are only given a bronchodilator for your asthma and if this is the only medication you use, it may even make your asthma worse. You need to find an allergist to better manage your asthma preferably with an inhaled steroid consisting of small-particle aerosol. Don't wait a day longer.
