Not contagious: But don't feed your baby ice cream! it has too much sugar. Keep high sugar foods away from children as long as possible. Actually, nursing your baby can help to resolve your mastitis quicker.

Mastitis: Not usually contageous. Are you breast feeding--that is ok also. Nutritional supplement vitamin d3 at 15, 000 iu per day helps fight infection and multiple sclerosis. Should take it until optimum blood levels of vitamin d e.g. 50 to 80 are reached.
