Should get better in: 2-3 days after starting antibiotic. If it persists after that, please call your doctor.

Less than 36 hours: Once you start the antibiotic, your fevers should be lower and then resolve within 24-36 hours. If you do not begin to feel better, the antibiotic may not be covering the correct bacteria. Let your physician know.
