DEPENDS ON SYMPTOMS: If the fibroid tumor is asymptomatic and d;c is not significant she may not need hystrectomy.You have to follw the advice of your gynecologist who examined her and made the diagnosis of fibroid tumor and did d;c.He/she knows the case and is the onally person who can advice you if she needs hysterectomy or some other form of treatment or just wait and watch.
