A member asked:

I rarely get sick, and my temperature is always low. would a normal temp be a fever in me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fever: Not necessarily. Depends upon the manner in which you are taking your temperature (oral, axillary, rectal, etc.) and the time of day. It is generally assumed that if your temperature exceeds 100 degrees that this is not normal. Some people may have lower body temps than others, sometimes due to metabolic conditions.
