Paranoia: Paranoia can be a symptom in multiple mental illnesses. Proper evaluation is needed to diagnose and treat this. Some possibilities include psychotic depression, bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and even severe ptsd. Drug/alcohol abuse and withdrawal can also cause paranoia. Please see a psychiatrist for assessment and help.
