Does cbt work better with or without antidepressants for anxiety related disorders.

CBT + antidepressant: In general it is felt that cbt is best when used in conjunction with antidepressants for the treatment of depression. I believe that the same would hold true for the treatment of anxiety. However, there are a number of different types of anxiety disorders and the antidepressant would have to be correctly chosen to match the type of anxiety based on current treatment outcome data. Best wishes.

Combination better: Cbt + meds is generally better than either one alone.
