You may need: a different antidepressant. Have you ever been on zoloft? I would give the lexapro (escitalopram) another 2 weeks before quitting it.

Time may tell: You may need a little more time before obsessive compulsive symptoms get better. The recent American Psychiatric Meeting in Atlanta this year had some experts reiterating a potential need to go past 20 mg of Lexapro (escitalopram) for obsessive symptoms to abate although you may want a heart test if that is implemented, sertraline at higher doses may also be helpful for this obsessive constellation of symptoms!
