MRI: Mri is much better for visualizing the soft tissue structures such as ligaments and tendons.

Yes, but...: Ct is excellent for looking at the bones and can see the ligaments but not very well. As dr. Hand previously stated, MRI is the best test to look at the ligaments and tendons.
