Gallbladder problems: One classic symptom of gallbladder disease is pain in the right upper abdomen after eating fatty foods. This diagnosis typically requires a gallbladder sonogram. If the sonogram is normal, a second 'functional test' such as a hida scan may be needed to exclude the gallbladder as the source of the problem. See your pcp.
