Rheumatologist: You may want to visit one. It doesn't sound like you had an injury to both ankle, maybe a joint problem instead. Good luck! and don't delay.

See a doctor: I would recommend you visit with a podiatrist or orthopedist in regards to this. You might have arthritis causing these symptoms, and x-rays will help confirm this possibility. Good luck.
