Yes: Podiatrists frequently use taping to treat this type of arch pain or plantar fasciitis in combination with cortisone injections, achilles stretching, physical therapy and orthotics. Taping is useful for the acute pain however can be irratating to the skin in long term use, so it is more practical to ultimately use orthotics for biomechanical control/long term prevention.
