A member asked:

Lost 10 pounds (175 to 165) over the last year with persistent acid reflux at night. face thinner than ever. 31 y.o., 5'11" cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No not really: Acid reflux can interfere with eating well. But it is easy to treat it with regular use of antacids. You can ask your doctor to prescribe a good antacid...Drugs like zantac (ranitidine) and Pepcid are available over the counter but more potent drugs like Prilosec or Omeprazole are highly effective and will completely control the acid problems.
