My aunt has end stage cirrhosis and they want to put a tube down her throat to get air out stomac is that one time procedure or does the tube stay in?

Not enough informati: Ng tube is not placed to get the air out of stomach.It is used for feedings some times, for oral medications and at times for gastric suction you have to talk to the doctors who are treating her as to why she has the feeding tube and how long it will be kept. That is my suggestion.
