I have this pain sensation in my armpit . could it be cancer i've heard there are these lymph nodes in that area?

cancer unlikely: You likely have skeletal or muscular pain. Could also have pain due to a swollen lymph node. This is usually associated with an infection but rarely could be associated with disease such as lymphoma. Chances are that your condition is benign.

Armpit pain: There are lymph nodes in your armpit, and although pain is an indicator that something may be going on it does not necessarily mean it is cancer. Lymph nodes are part of our bodies defense mechanism against infection and they can become swollen and tender from many things. Are there any other symptoms. Best to get checked out by your physician to attain appropriate treatment if necessary.
