Usually in am: Typically arthritis is worse in the morning. Usually the joints stiffen over the night being in bed. Often sitting in a charir or movie or restaurant makes its stiff, best thing for arthitiis is to stay active and move.

Early morning joint pain or stiffness may be a sign of an arthritis caused by an autoimmune disorder like rheumatoid arthritis.
