Parasomnia: Sleepwalking is a type of parasomnia -- a behavior occurring during sleep. You appear to be "awake" but you really aren't. It can happen with some sedating medicines, like Ambien (zolpidem) -- and sometimes on its own. Talk with your doctor about it. You may want a formal sleep evaluation with sleep study.
