During : During a tubal ligation, a woman's fallopian tubes are cut and tied. Then, the ends are burned (coagulated) to prevent bleeding. Provided that your doctor did not remove the fallopian tubes in their entirety (some woman do ask for this) then tubal ligation is a reversible procedure and the fallopian tubes can be reconnected so that pregancy is possible. The procedure is called tubal ligation reversal. Be aware, however, that tubal reversal is not always 100% successful as the fallopian tubes may not heal properly after attempts to reconnect. Talk to your doctor, about tubal ligations reversal surgery.

Talk to MD: There are procedures available to re-attach the fallopian tubes. Talk to your ob-gyn doctor about wether this procedure would work in your case. Good luck.

Bypass tubes: The cost may be an issue but a fertility center can harvest some of your eggs and fertilize them with dads sperm. The resulting combo can be placed in your womb at the appropriate time after your body has been prepared to receive the embryos.Reattaching your tubes may be possible but may never work right. You need to visit with a fertility center doc & consider your options.
