Could be IUD: It sounds as if the Mirena (levonorgestrel) is working well in preventing a period. As your doctor may have mentioned, women with this iud may have their period disappear entirely and only have occasional spotting. As far as the pain is concerned, that's difficult to diagnose without an exam. See your doctor or health care provider if it continues to bother you. Sometimes if iud not in correct location can hurt.
