A member asked:

Is there anything i can do for lifting weights with a prior wrist injury? what lifts to avoid?

Braces and straps: Any pressing exercises can exacerbate injured wrists as can pulling exercises that require forceful gripping. Firstly, decreasing the weight can alleviate wrist pain. Secondly, some machines are easier on the wrists than free weights. Finally, wrist braces can support the wrist for pressing exercises, and wrist straps can supplement your grip for pulling exercises.

Depends: It depends on your injury as to what you should or should not do. See a hand surgeon for an appropriate evaluation before you do more damage to your wrist.
