See Dr.: See a physician if u continue to have pain ; headaches, confusion ... Even if u have difficulty concentrating w/ in next 24 hrs see physician. Not all ' bangs on the head' are as serious as concussions but occassionally they are worse...( epidural / subdural hematomas, intracerebral bleeds etc.)...These are much less infrequent but see md if sx's persist..!

Possibly: If you are completely normal with just some pain at the site of impact, you probably can continue to observe. However, if you had loss or altered awareness, focal neurological deficit, worsening headache, are on blood thinners, etc., you ought to get it checked out. If in doubt, err on the side of getting checked out.
