When should you schedule your first dr. appointment after you find out you are pregnant and how often do you need to see the doctor while pregnant?

if you are 9 weeks: Already , you should be seen very soon as i always do an early ultrasound on all of my pts to make sure they have a viable iup and not an unviable pregnancy or an ectopic, once i know the pregnancy is normal then u need the first prenatal exam which consists of a complete exam cultures and blood work and then your OB should go over the rest with you at your first prenatal visit.
