See pediatrician: Tell your mother that you would like to see a pediatrician. You can also feel free to tell her that you are uncomfortable with her making medical decisions for you in spite of her being a dentist. I agree with you that you should be examined appropriately and a diagnosis rendered appropriately.

See below : It is impossible to make a diagnosis without a clinical exam. You may be having pain due to tmd or your wisdom teeth. Ask your mom to do an examination or have her take you to another doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. You can also resubmit your question with more detail about your symptoms, like pain upon chewing or opening and closing or pian all the time. Is your pain only on one side.

TMD\TMJoint pain: Your mom might be right. The symptoms related to tmd\tmjoint pain often help us make a diagnosis on that basis alone. However, a dentist with experience and training needs to confirm this diagnosis with a clinical exam. It is also possible to have an additional dental problem at the same time. Ask your mom or another dentist to evaluate and treat you. There are palliative treatments for this issue.

TMJ or wisdom teeth: I've seen patients referred for TMJ and it was wisdom teeth and vice versa. Ask her to refer you to an oral surgeon for diagnosis/treatment.
