Every morning when i wake up i have a bad pain in both heels making it painful to walk any idea what would cause this has been going on a few months?

Very common and very painful: Sounds like you have what's called an acute plantar fasciitis and very probably heel spurs associated. Go to a podiatrist have some x-rays taken and he will advise you. In the meantime do not go barefooted use ice and wear shoes that have a heel you may need orthotics.
