Make an appointment: To meet with a psychologist or other mental health clinician. Not eating will only exacerbate the issues. Force yourself to eat ; start talking with a therapist about what is disturbing you. Let us know how you are doing!

Depression ; eating: It sounds as though you are really going through a tough time. Sometimes when we are sad, we lose our appetites. If you cannot "snap out of it", maybe you should try to find a good therapist to work with.

TIME TO FIX IT: Sounds like repeated depression. Can be a physical or psychological cause. Your dr can sort out which and refer you (if needed) to one who can help you overcome the depression if the dr can't take care of it right away. If it's a long standing eating peoblem that really needs attention.

Start with a medical: evaluation. There can be medical causes for depressive sx's. Meds are sometimes needed. Talking therapy ranks really high. Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night & good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies & 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises & meditation >
