Other things fun: I don't like cleaning toilets either, but i'm mature enough to know it eventually has to get done or i and others will suffer. A 6 year old doesn't understand this concept. Playing is more fun, i'm not at school anymore so why do I have to do school work at home, the answers go on and on. Set up a study place, time and goals, and then enforce it and stick to it. He needs structure and expectations.
