Don't worry about it: The sternum and xyphoid have a joint that can pop, just like a knuckle. The sliding noise may be a variation of that same joint. Or it could just be gastrointestinal readjustment, or of fluid and stomach contents. Unless there is pain, it is unlikely to be of concern.
