Cast or splint: "dealers choice" a splint lets you take it off and wash but complicance is often an issue even with the best intentions and it may take longer to heal. While annoying at times a cast may work faster initially. For some but nondisplaced fractures dont mandate casting always ten weeks down the line no difference, just your experience in getting there.
