HBV infection: If you have chronic hbv infection and has evidence of active replication, you should be on treatment for it. Hbv infection is one of the conditions that can lead to liver cancer without evidence of liver cirrhosis. If on therapy, lfts will be monitor closely at the initial stage, then spread out as you are responding to therapy. If not on therapy, suggest lfts, afp, and us every 6months -1 yr.
