Gastritis or ulcer: The most common cause would be an alcohol-induced gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), but it could also be a bleeding ulcer, which can also be caused by alcohol. You should see a doctor, and if you're drinking so much that you're bleeding, you're drinking too much!

Couple possibliities: You may just have some gastritis, or even some peptic ulcer disease. But, if your emesis was violent, you may have torn the distal esophagus' inner lining, called a mallory-weiss tear. This will be self limited. If it continues, see your doctor, and take it easy on the etoh for awhile. Good luck.
