probably: First of all, how do you know you are allergic to augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate)? The medication is actually 2 drugs (amomxicillin+clavulanic acid) and can cause rashes that are not due to allergy. Most patients who develop a rash with Amoxicillin can tolerate cephalexin. To be on th esafe side, see an allergist/immunologist.
