A member asked:

Is it normal to gain weight not long after eating (possibly because of the meal's weight in you)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

SURE: Water increases your body weight 2.2 pounds for every liter of water you drink. So , if you're eating and drinking, as you consume water, in food and drink, you'll gain 2.2 pounds per liter. And, if you eat foods loaded with salt, you will have fluid retention, at least temporarily. Hope this helps. Good luck.
