They can: I agree w dr. Stern about then need for good sleep hygiene. Chamomile can be taken 30 to 45 minutes before sleep to help with insomnia. It tends to be more helpful with mild insomnia. People with ragweed allergies can experience paradoxical reactions when using chamomile to help with sleep. Sleep hygiene tips: 1. Keep a regular bedtime & wakening time (to include weekends). Get up the same time.
