How much pain: How much discomfort, pain, ability to wear shoes, any pus with red granulation tissue is growing at side of the nail, are all in ascending order , how deep is ingrown nail is digging into tissue.

Swelling, pain: The more severe the ingrown, the more pain, redness and swelling will be present. Do not suffer. This is a relatively easy removal in the office. See your podiatrist.
