yes but . .: Allergic inflammation is common although it usually affects both eyes. You may have a different issue such as episcleritis. Blepharitis is a sort of dandruff of the lids and there is treatment for it (warm soaks, cleaning, topical ointments) but it does not usually cause redness of the eyes. You should return for another look or at least get a second opinion.
