A member asked:

I have really itchy eyelids but the optometrist has said that my actual eye is not infected although my lids are inflamed. is this blepharitis?

Possible: It could be blepharitis if not conjunctivitis. Sometimes it can be early stage of developing stye. Keep your eyes clean by using water and a drop of baby shampoo. Put warm wet compresses. If it does not help then consult a physician.
