non-preservative: Non-preservative-containing eye drops are recommended, but evaluation for underlying cause is important.

Keep it gentle: I recommend to my patients artificial tears that have transient preservatives, like refresh brand tears, optive, or liquigel, all of which can be used up to 8 times daily. The photograph shows my favorite choices (genteal, systane, refresh).
