Yes, if you also eat: The best and only successful method of weight loss is to eat less. Along with this, it is a good idea to move around and remain active. This can be as a daily walk or run/jog as this will also burn some calories. Rest of the things like green tea etc may also add some benefit but not proven.

But a recent study concluded that "green tea preparations appear to induce a small, statistically non-significant weight loss in overweight or obese adults.
